Community-led ACTION

Many change processes begin from the problem space and try to find abstract potential solutions, which are made increasingly more concrete. The SDT approach however, starts with the concrete environment, history and social landscape and leads to enacting concrete inquiry that speaks to lived realities. It is from this grounded and open understanding of what is “out there” that the beginnings of designing solutions and selecting material to be articulated or advocated to those with access to resources occurs. We seek to scale out and extend the impact of the SDT process to more local and contextually adapted projects in many regions and across the globe.
